Our positions

Commitment to social and globally sustainable policies

Political decisions change life chances. They help to determine who is well off and who has to live in poverty and hardship. Caritas stands for policies that take socially disadvantaged people in Switzerland and abroad into account. We are actively engaged in this with in-depth analyses and clear positions. We put forward practical proposals and participate in working on solutions that bring us closer to a society based on solidarity.

What are we politically committed to?

To a social, just world

With a team of experts, Caritas Switzerland engages in the fields of climate, social, migration and development policy. Because political decisions change life chances in the long term.

We take positions, start actions and encourage people to stand up for socially just policies and a world without poverty.
