Caritas Switzerland prevents, fights and alleviates poverty in around 20 countries

Caritas Switzerland supports children and adults in precarious situations in around 20 countries worldwide. Our focus is on income, climate and migration. In times of crisis and disaster, we provide emergency relief, help portect people's livelihoods, ensure basic needs are met, and supports reconstruction efforts.

Together with local partner organizations, communities, public institutions, and the private sector, we foster stable livelihoods, strengthen the resilience of communities, and promote social and economic participation. In this way, we support people to shape their own futures, exercise their rights, and contribute to an inclusive and resilient society.
