Humanitarian Action
Humanitarian needs are increasing worldwide. Countless people find themselves in fragile situations. The climate crisis and wars create and exacerbate emergency situations. Our projects provide emergency support for people in acute crises and disasters.
We support people to cover their basic needs, which can be provided in kind or through financial support depending on the situation. We ensure the support is provided in a safe and dignified manner to people in crisis.

Supporting people in humanitarian crisis situations
In humanitarian crises, lives are at stake and suffering must be alleviated. Giving people the possibility to express their needs and maintain self-determination is a central aspect of our emergency support.
Emergency aid is linked with long-term development projects when possible. In this way, we make a vital contribution to ensure that the situation of extremely poor and disadvantaged people is improved.
