A world at peace and without poverty, for sustainable development, is not only the goal of Caritas, but also of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). It supports Caritas Switzerland with a large annual contribution to our programmes and projects. Moreover, we cooperate closely with the SDC within the framework of several mandates and projects.
The Medicor Foundation has supported our project work for many years, and not only financially. With its great expertise, the Foundation also supports us in an advisory capacity. This long-term partnership enables reliable planning and is based on mutual trust.
Together, Sunrise and Caritas help people who are living at or below the subsistence level to develop their digital skills. This gives them a better chance of finding work, ensures that they have access to governmental, cultural and educational services, and strengthens their ability to participate in society.
ALDI SUISSE fulfils its social responsibility not only with Fairtrade products. It has also supported the Caritas Markets for many years, and since 2011 has sold goods under the Caritas label for the benefit of children and their families at risk of, and affected by, poverty in Switzerland.
